oYYo

Privacy

We are always looking to expand our services, reliability, and suite of telecommunication solutions. As such, our privacy policy may change over time to reflect new features, formats and requirements, as well as how they relate to you.

What We Collect

The data we require.

Creating an oYYo account and accepting payments may require us to collect some very basic personal data such as email addresses and payment details. This information is only shared with our payment processor in order to complete the transaction in order to get you into oYYo. We do not store your credit card information. We keep the least amount of data necessary to run the service.

The information from our apps.

Cypher Communications does not log any information associated with voice or video calls, messages sent over oYYo. We do not log any authenticated web requests. The logs generated from other web traffic do not include any identifying information. We delete logs that other services generate in 7 days or less. We turn the logging level on our systems to log only protocol-related errors. Our goal is to have nothing to turn over or disclose to any third party.

How We Use What We Have

What we get out of it.

We optimize and upgrade our products and software based on raw data like protocol-related errors, not on private information like your messages. What little data we do collect, we use to the benefit of oYYo and improving service.

Transparency reports.

Every 6 months we will post:

What we will disclose.

Your privacy is dependent on the proper handling of your personal information. We will never sell this data or give access to unauthorized third parties. If requested, you can be assured we will delete your information completely from our records.

We will update the accuracy and currency of this privacy statement as needed. We want it to reflect our goals and aspirations to help you. We also want it to accurately describe what we can and cannot do. We are a secure encrypted communications service, answering to our customers: the citizens of the world. If you feel your privacy has been violated by your use of oYYo, you may register your complaint by email to privacy@oyyo.ca.

Terms of Use

Use of service for illegal purposes.

We support your right for secure private communications, however some people will use our tools and service to do bad. We don’t want that - it's bad for everyone and makes our job harder. We reserve the right to cancel your service for doing bad things.

In the event we are contacted for such an investigation, we will do our best to examine all of our legal options before providing your information, keeping you informed every step of the way.
